MEET OUR PASTOR
Pastor Dan and Sister Richardson
Pastor Dan and his wife, Annette, have been married for 26 years and are the proud guardians of their granddaughter, Kalyn.
Pastor Dan spent over 30 years working in the steel industry before pursuing ministry. In 1980, he built and pastored a church in Henry, Illinois, which continues to thrive today. After retiring from the steel mill in 2001 and later from plumbing in 2008, he and Annette felt called to plant a new church in Spring Valley.
In 2012, God placed a burden on Pastor Dan’s heart for the city of Spring Valley. He and Annette found a building, remodeled it with the help of volunteers, and launched services in February 2013. After years of prayer and persistence, the church secured its current building in 2016 and successfully paid off the mortgage in just four years.
Pastor Dan and Annette lead a volunteer-driven church, where no one — including the pastor — takes a salary. Their ministry thrives through faithful giving and dedicated volunteers. Annette also serves as the worship leader, playing a vital role in the church’s ministry.
The leadership team continues to trust God for the future, believing He will move powerfully in the lives of those in the community.
